One run. Every archive opened, every junk file gone, every sample where you'd expect it.

"I got into making beats and did what every producer does — downloaded every free pack I could find. Within months I was spending more time digging through ZIPs and folders than actually making music.

I assumed someone had built a tool to fix this. Nobody had. So I did."

— Jay, creator of ZenPack

How it works

Four steps. One button.

The same pipeline you see in the app: four numbered steps, a live console, and a single progress bar across the whole run.

1

Unpack

Extracts ZIP, RAR, and 7z archives — including packs nested inside packs — into one clean working folder.

2

Clean

Removes broken files, system junk, macOS sidecar clutter, and duplicate-pattern debris before sorting begins.

3

Sort

A deterministic engine routes every sample, MIDI file, and preset into a professional category structure.

4

Index

Builds a searchable browser of your whole library — with in-browser audio playback — plus a CSV index.

Or skip the steps entirely: press Run Full Pipeline and watch one progress bar take your library from chaos to done.

ZenPack v3.14 mid-run on Windows — progress bar half full, console streaming live extraction of 93 sample packs
A real run, mid-pipeline: 93 packs being unpacked, every action streamed live to the console.
The output

Sorted the way producers actually search.

🥁

808s are their own category

You search "808" as its own thing — not as a kick variant buried three folders deep. So does ZenPack.

⏱️

Loops bucketed by BPM

Working at 140? You'll never scroll past 3,000 loops at every other tempo to find the ones that fit.

🔢

Numbered to match your workflow

Drums → Loops → One Shots → MIDI → FX. The folder order mirrors the order you build a track in.

🗂️

Honest about uncertainty

A file the sorter isn't sure about goes to a clearly labeled Unknown folder — never confidently filed into the wrong place.

NO AI · ON PURPOSE

Same input. Same output. Every time.

ZenPack's sorter is a deterministic engine, hand-tuned over months against thousands of real commercial packs. Not a model. Not a guess. Not "it might be different this time."

Predictable

Every file's destination follows explainable rules — filename plus folder context, with careful word-boundary matching. Run it twice, get the identical result twice.

Battle-tested on real chaos

Hardened against the actual mess producers download: misleading filenames, genre labels that look like content labels, FL Studio bundled samples, beat-promo clips, field recordings.

It knows what it doesn't know

The engine's core rule: a wrong guess is worse than no guess. Uncertain files go to Unknown, in plain sight — your library stays trustworthy.

Your files

The careful librarian, not a bulldozer.

ZenPack is built around one promise: nothing happens to your library without you seeing it first.

Dry Run is on by default

Your first run shows every move it would make — without touching a single file. You approve the plan, then it runs.

Copy mode

Want your originals untouched forever? ZenPack can build a sorted copy and leave your existing library exactly as it is.

Never renames your files

ZenPack organizes with folder structure only. Your filenames — and anything that depends on them — stay exactly as they are.

Every move is logged

Source and destination for every single file, recorded. Nothing happens silently. Everything is auditable.

⚠ DRY RUN ACTIVE — no files will be moved [Sort] 808_HARD_distorted_v2_FINAL.wav → 01 - DRUMS/808s/ [Sort] Future_Bass_120.wav → 02 - LOOPS/Melodic/120 BPM/ [Sort] weird_texture_thing.wav → 05 - FX/Unknown/ (not confident — flagged for you) ✓ 49,987 moves planned · 0 files touched · review and run when ready

Activation is a simple offline license file: copy your machine code from the app, email it to us, load the .lic file you get back. Done — no restart, no account.

Will it run on my machine?

If you're on a normal Windows 10 or 11 PC (64-bit, AMD or Intel) — yes.

System requirements
  • Windows 10 (64-bit) or Windows 11
  • x64 processor (AMD or Intel)
  • ~100 MB disk space for the app — your library lives wherever you keep it
  • No internet required after activation
Coming later
  • Windows on ARM (Snapdragon / Surface / Copilot+): runs today via Windows' built-in emulation; native ARM64 build planned
  • macOS — planned for a later release
  • Linux — may be evaluated based on demand
FAQ

Questions producers ask.

Will ZenPack rename or delete my samples?

Never renames — your filenames stay untouched, always. The Clean step removes only junk (broken files, system files, sidecar clutter), Dry Run shows you everything before it happens, and every action is logged. If you want zero risk, Copy mode builds a sorted copy and leaves your original library alone.

Is this another AI tool?

No — deliberately. The sorter is a deterministic engine refined over months against thousands of real sample packs. The same library sorts the same way every single time, every decision is explainable, and files it can't confidently classify are flagged as Unknown instead of being guessed into the wrong folder.

What does the free demo actually do?

It runs on your real library with no time limit: unpack all your archives, clean the junk, and build a fully working searchable browser where you can search, filter, and play your own samples. The one thing it doesn't do is sort — that's what the license unlocks.

Does it need an internet connection or an account?

No account, no subscription, no phone-home. The license is a file validated offline on your machine. Buy once, own it.

Will there be a Mac version?

Yes — a macOS version is planned for a later release. Windows ships first so it can be supported properly. No date promised; it'll release when it's ready.

What archive formats does it handle?

ZIP, RAR, and 7z — including nested archives (packs zipped inside other packs).

What happens to files it can't identify?

They go to a clearly labeled Unknown subfolder inside the relevant category, where they're easy to find and file yourself. ZenPack's rule is that a wrong guess is worse than no guess — it will never silently bury a file in the wrong place.
